Overhead frame in progress
This weekend I have tried to make the right measures for the overhead frame which will be made in aluminum. A local company agreed to get the job done at a reasonable price
First I made a drawing with all known meassures. I also made this simple 3D model to show roughly how its going to look. The sides is going to be a bit higher, but exactly how much I have not decide yet. It depends on the switches in the fire panel since that panel is sinked into the overhead.
I have decided to wait for my panels before ordering the frame. My plan is to print the drawings in 1:1 scale and lay out the panels on top of my drawings to double check the measures.
I have not decided how to solve the holes for the screws. I will talk to the company and see if there is any standard bars in aluminum that could be used first.
